Arellano holds its patron saint festivals in August. The programme lasts over the weekend after the festivals of Estella with activities such as bonfires, music and dancing, pilgrimages and a mass at the hermitage, cookery competitions, etc. The weekend following the 8th March brings the winter festival in honour of St Veremundo.
Every five years, the saint is the protagonist in another celebration: the exchange of relics between Arellano and Villatuerta. They carry them in a decorated lorry which makes a stop at the Irache Monastery. A mass is held there before leaving for the village whose turn it is to keep the remains of St Veremundo.
On 8th September, the people of Arellano make a pilgrimage to the Virgin of Unzizu Hermitage, which they also visit in May to celebrate the festival of St Isidro.
